$2.3 Million “Slip and Fall” Verdict against Kroger in Gwinnett County, Ga

Last week, a Gwinnett County jury awarded $2.3 million to the victim of a slip-and-fall at a Douglasville Kroger. Carbon Dioxide in Pooler McDonald’s leads to death of elderly Florida woman

An 80-year-old Florida woman, Anne Felton, died on September 7 after succumbing to a carbon dioxide leak at a Pooler, Georgia McDonald’s. Authorities believe carbon dioxide used to make soft drinks leaked into the women’s bathroom causing Felton’s death. Emergency personnel were called to the McDonald’s shortly after Ms. Felton and Carol Berry, a 56-year-old resident of Florida, were found unconscious on the bathroom floor. Atlanta Slip and fall case results in million dollar verdict

A Fulton County jury awarded Miriam Hancock of Norcross $1.14 million after she tripped and fell on loose concrete near Underground Atlanta. The fall caused Hancock to suffer permanent damage to her foot. Hancock was crossing the intersection at Alabama Street and Pryor Street when her heel became caught in the sidewalk. Atlanta personal injury lawyer wins $1.5 million verdict against Home Depot in Marietta, Georgia

In 2005, a Cumming man shopping at a Marietta Home Depot was injured in a forklift accident. On Wednesday, a Cobb County jury awarded the man and his wife $1.5 million for injuries.
